For March's Book Club, we will be reading I Can Make This Promise by Christine Day.
"When twelve-year-old Edie finds letters and photographs in her attic that change everything she thought she knew about her Native American mother's adoption, she realizes she has a lot to learn about her family's history and her own identity."
For those new to Book Club, at each session, the kids vote on a book to read together for the next month. Miss Lisa then orders enough copies of that book through the Ocean State Libraries consortium. You then pick up the book at the library (usually a week after the last book club) and check it out on your library card. Books are never due before Book Club.
