The Sydney Wright Room is being used for storage during this time, so it will be unavailable. The Blue Conference Room is also unavailable. The rest of the library is open for normal business. Summer Reading Program Kickoff for Kids, Tweens and Teens, featuring Ricky from the Rainbow Beard Show!
Ricky Katowicz is the creator and host of a live theater production for children and their families called The Rainbow Beard Show. It is both a spectacle and a classroom.
Audience participation is encouraged and the shows feature recurring characters, special guests, minute long dance parties, and a celebration of authentic feelings.
People often don't know what to expect and that is in itself the expectation.
Come join us for a Casey Farm presentation of Project Chick. The program is suitable for children ages 3 to 13. It includes a 40-minute presentation about chickens, a 15-minute talk on eggs and a 5-minute period where participants get to touch a live chicken and hold live chicks. Registration is not required for this Friends of the Jamestown Library program but space is limited to 100.
