The Friends of Jamestown Library Present: Yanni & Friends (Formerly Tourlou)
Come on down to St. Matthew's Church on Saturday, April 29 at 1 p.m. for a fun concert with Yanni & Friends (formerly Tourlou). This is a family- friendly event for all ages.
The library will be closed for Martin Luther King Day and will reopen Tuesday, January 17, at 9:00 AM.
The Friends of Jamestown Library Present: Two for the Rhode
The Friends of Jamestown Library Present: Singer/Songwriter Mary Pierce with Elias Cardoso
A concert by the band "Western Stars." This event, sponsored by the Friends of the Library, will take place at St. Matthew's Church.
Western Stars is a Rhode Island based Western Swing band. Bob Wills, Bob Dylan, Hank Williams, jazz standards and anything else could show up in a performance. Formed in 2015, the band makes its home at The Parlour in Providence playing an early 6-9 show every first Friday of the month.
Registration is required. Limit of 70 at St. Matthew's Church.
Family Story Time!
At the end of Story Time on Wednesday, December 14, the Jamestown Senior Center will provide a special cookie treat for our youngest friends! Please contact Ms. Colleen with any allergen information.
