There was a water leak in the Youth Services area on Monday, January 26th. This wing will be closed until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to our Youth population. The Sydney Wright Room is being used for storage during this time, so it will be unavailable. Cancelled: Story Time with Local Author Carissa Leveille Nylin

Join Rhode Island-based author and illustrator Carissa Leveille Nylin for a live reading of her recently launched picture book Ella, Bernard, and the Marvelous Mountains. The book is described as "a whimsical adventure perfect for elementary and middle-grade classrooms." Literary devices like onomatopoeia, alliteration, metaphor, simile, hyperbole, and personification are woven seamlessly into a story about imagination, music, and the magic of childhood. Program concludes with a craft.

Recommended for children, ages 3 and up, with a caregiver. 

Registration is required. Please include the number of children who will be in attendance.
