Living History Demonstration - 18th century textile production from raw materials to finished usable products presented in period dress.
Spinning of wool on an 18th century great wheel and weaving on a portable loom are demonstrated. History and politics of the time are discussed. Various fibers and period tools are on display for examination.
Also a hands on weaving project on a cardboard loom. Participants take home their woven piece, cardboard loom and a yarn needle.
