There was a water leak in the Youth Services area on Monday, January 26th. This wing will be closed until further notice. We are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause to our Youth population. The Sydney Wright Room is being used for storage during this time, so it will be unavailable. The Providence Brigade Band was originally founded in 1846 and performed until 1884.  The band was resurrected in 1996, 150 years after its initial formation.  For 10 months of the year we are a mid to late 19th century brass band playing authentic band arrangements on authentic instruments from that period.  For 2 months of the year, we turn into Rhode Island Brassworks, a modern brass ensemble playing both traditional and contemporary Christmas music on modern instruments of today.  Please enjoy the music from the Providence Brigade Band’s alter ego, Rhode Island Brassworks.
